List of Gram Panchayats in Scheduled Areas of Maharashtra

Thirteen districts—Pune, Thane, Palghar, Ahmednagar, Nashik, Nandurbar, Dhule, Jalgaon, Nanded, Amravati, Yavatmal, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli—are classified as scheduled areas out of Maharashtra’s 36 districts. With a total area of almost 12,235 square kilometers, Amravati District is the largest of these districts and the second largest in Maharashtra.
