The Jane Goodall Institute’s Roots & Shoots initiative is a global movement that unites young people from all backgrounds in support of the improvement of our environment. According to the institute’s ambassadors, these young leaders will plan and implement community-focused initiatives, support deserving causes, and motivate others via their empathy and deeds. Through the Roots & Shoots program, council members from all over India will oversee their own independent projects and offer feedback on program start and associated communications. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots gives children the freedom to participate in practical initiatives of their own choosing, and each group selects three projects, one of which benefits the environment, animals, and the community.
