The National Scholarship Portal is for students to apply for various scholarships offered by the Government of India. The One Time Registration (OTR) application to apply for fresh scholarships and renewal is live, featuring a redesigned home page, an app, and an updated web version that is now available to students, making it convenient for them to register for OTR on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The NSP portal, including OTR, is now using technology. OTR is a unique 14-digit number issued based on an Aadhar Card or Aadhar Enrollment ID. On successful completion of the OTR, an OTR ID will be generated. This will be valid throughout the student’s academic life cycle. On successful completion of the application, an application ID will be generated against the OTR ID, to ensure only one OTR ID is made against one application.
