The government has announced several schemes and has improved many existing ones to speed the nation’s development. The Viksit Bharat scheme attempts to make India a developed entity by 2047 improving areas such as economy and health. The rooftop solarisation scheme or the PM Suryodaya Yojana has guaranteed 300 units of electricity to 1 crore households through rooftop solar panels. Several other schemes such as housing for the middle class, cervical cancer vaccination scheme, Atmanirbhar oilseed Abhiyaan, scheme for bio manufacture and bio foundry, and dairy development have been announced in the budget. Corpus for Research and Innovation and Blue Economy 2.0 have also been announced. 2 crore additional households will benefit from Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (Grameen). Maternal and Child Healthcare will be improved under the Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 while all Anganwadi workers can access healthcare under Ayushmaan Bharat.
