The New India Literacy Programme (NILP) is a centrally sponsored scheme that aims to enhance literacy and education among citizens aged 15 years and above across India. Approved for implementation during the fiscal years 2022–2027, the programme aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and focuses on comprehensive adult education.
