With an estimated expenditure of Rs. 6,12,293 crore [Rs. 6,123 billion], the Maharashtra Scheme Budget saw a 2% hike compared to last year’s budget. The budget plans to distribute solar pumps to 850,000 farmers and allocates approximately Rs. 15 Crore each for the Scheduled Caste Plan and the Tribal Development Sub-Plan.
