The Forest Rights Act (FRA), 2006 recognizes the importance of inclusivity and accessibility, especially for marginalized communities like Scheduled Tribes and other traditional forest dwellers. One of the ways it does this is by supporting the use of local languages in its implementation. Some of the measures include developing Documentation in Local Languages, Gram Sabha Proceddings, Awareness Materials and Oral Testimonies.
