Rs. 1098.62 crore was authorised under the National Livestock Misson in India. The NLM Entrepreneurship Scheme is open to any individual, Farmers Producer Organisation (FPO), Self Help Group (SHG), Farmer Cooperative Organisation (FCO), Joint Liability Group (JLG), or Section 8 business. Various organisations that supply inputs, such seeds, feed, and other resources, to the beneficaries in support the growth of livestock and poultry entrepreneurship and breed improvement projects. They are referred to as “suppliers” in the context of the National Livestock Mission (NLM).
