Indian Labour Law: Know about Minimum Wages, Work Hours, Maternity Leave, & other entitled benefits

The corpus of legislation, court decisions, and precedents that deal with the legal rights and limitations of employees and their organisations is referred to as Indian Labour Law, or Employment Law. As a result, it mediates a number of facets of the interaction between companies, employees, and trade unions. Stated differently, labour law establishes the rights and responsibilities of employees, union members, and employers in the workplace. Workplace health and safety; industrial relations, including union certification, labor-management relations, collective bargaining, and unfair labour practices; and employment standards, including minimum wage, severance pay, annual leave, working hours, general holidays, and unfair dismissals are all generally covered by labour law. 21 Indian Labour Laws include (Chief Labour Commissioner (Central)):
