Anjanapuram is a small village in Telangana where the residents were once dominated by outsiders. 450 of the 1900 residents of this village belong to Scheduled Tribes (ST). The residents realised that the solution to these issues lies in self-governance and saw government jobs as a way to put their issues in the forefront and seek their solutions. They inspired their children to aim for government jobs and now 200 citizens from this village are serving as government employees. From providing medical financial aid to evening classes for children, these dedicated government officers are doing everything they can to uplift their village and empower their community.
